Blend wet and dry ingredients. Don’t overmix! At this point you may add, if you wish: 3/4 cup of nuts (walnuts or pecans) or 1.5 tbsp. of poppy seeds. Bake in a buttered and floured or Pam-sprayed tin at 350 degrees for 45-50 minutes. or 12 cupcakes (bake 20 minutes).
