The First-Ever Country Hen Recipe Contest
Entries accepted until October 1st, 2008 - 2008-06-06

Dear Egg Buyer,

With summer finally here, we decided to hold our first-ever Country Hen Recipe Contest. We are all very excited to see some of your favorite ways to use Country Hen eggs and to expand the recipe section of our website.

The Rules

We only have a few, but they are important:
1. We intend to post the recipes on the recipe section of our website. Therefore, all recipes entered must be your own.
2. Recipes can be from any style of food that you like. However, they must, of course, contain at least one important ingredient- The Country Hen eggs.
3. Judging will be done by Country Hen team members.
4. All entries must be submitted by October 1st, 2008 to or to P.O. Box 333, Hubbardston, MA 01452. Please remember to include your name and home mailing address on all entries. If there is a special story you want to include, please feel free, but it is not necessary.
5. Country Hen employees and their relatives are ineligible to participate.

And The Winners....

The grand prize winner will receive 10 dozen Country Hen eggs by mail (1 dozen/week for 10 weeks!!!). The two runner-up prizes will receive 5 dozen Country Hen eggs by mail (1 dozen/week for 5 weeks!!!). Please note that The Country Hen priority ships all of their eggs on Tuesdays, so that you will receive them quickly, and most importantly, before the weekend.

How To Improve Your Chances of Winning

Recipe samples sent to the attention of the hard working Country Hen Team members, or directly to George Bass, may improve your chances of winning. In addition, votes may be swayed by writing brief thank you notes to the hard working Hens. Don't try to send them any samples, though, they will always choose the high quality, top-secret feed over everything else!
We wish you all the best of luck in the contest and look forward to trying your recipes!

For those at the Country Hen,

George S. Bass
