THE COUNTRY HEN EGGS NOT INVOLVED IN RECALL

We are receiving many customer calls regarding the recent Wright County Egg and Hillandale Egg recall of 550 million eggs packaged under 31 different brand names.

We want to assure you that The Country Hen is in no way affiliated with these recalls. The Country Hen processes and packs all of our eggs at our farm in Hubbardston, Massachusetts under only The Country Hen name.
For your reference our Plant # (listed on our carton as our Federal ID #) is 0126.

On July 9th of this year it became mandatory for all farms with over 50,000 hens to start routine Salmonella Enteritidis testing. However, The Country Hen has always voluntarily tested for Salmonella Enteritidis as part of our own strict quality assurance program. We are proud to say we have never tested positive.
