Bread Roll Eggs

Ingredients:

  • 6 large bread rolls
  • Vegetable Oil
  • 6 Country Hen Eggs
  • Salt
  • Black Pepper
  • 1/2 Cup buttered bread crumbs
  • Grated cheese
  • Minced chives


Directions:

Scoop out a hollow in each bread roll.

Brush the top and insides of the rolls with vegetable oil.

Break a Country Hen Egg in each hollow and season to taste with salt and pepper.

Sprinkle on buttered bread crumbs and bake in a 325 degree oven for 20 minutes or until the eggs are set.

Sprinkle with grated cheese and minced chives and heat in the oven until the cheese melts.

Serve immediately.

Yield: Serves 6
